From Pastor Ross Desk Think on this: The Choice Philippians 1:23-25 23 I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; 24 but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. 25 Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith, May God have a blessing on the reader, hearers and doers of His Holy Word. I want to reference this scripture here where Paul had come to a crossroad in his life, weather to stay with the people he loved or to go with God. Some theologians would say, Paul was preparing himself to died but scripture doesn't indicate that fact. But I like to think, Paul look over his life, realized he is weeping what he had sown. Now this is me(Don) thinking what Paul was thinking. I have persecuted others and now I'm persecuted, I have lie too and on others and now I being lied on. I have put people down and now I being drag through the mud. Yet! I am still dealing with leaving the church that is dear to my heart. Question, are you weeping anything you sown. I like Paul is at a crossroad with the church and my health. My personal testament is to be obedient to the will of God, I must let his will be done in order to come out of this season of sickness. My choice is to died to my illness, so can live, to live for Christ. Like Paul I have done things I'm not proud of but, through it all, God has kept me. Have you been kept by the blood of the Lamb? Dr. Steven J. Lawson wrote "A Man Ready to Die - Philippians 1:21-26" stated; "It has been said that a person is not ready to live until they are first ready to die. That is to say, only once we are ready to die, in actuality, are we ready to live. Some people wait too long to come to such a place. Sadly, it takes them being on their deathbed for them to finally come to the place that they are ready to die, and then give their life to Christ. But sadly then there is no time for them to live for Christ." I don't want to die with my works undone, I need to get well so I can do a good work for the Lord. We must take care of, not just your body but our mind and soul. I'm on the battlefield, and I must get strong so I can live for Christ to do my part for the Kingdom of God. So I choose, to remain with you in the land of the living for the joy of all of us. This is my last Sunday at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, do to my health, it is time to step down and get well so I can truly live and work for Christ. Pray for New Jerusalem Church family and for me and mine. This is a message to all who are at crossroads in their life. So I invite you to one of the best small Big hearted church on this side of heaven. From Pastor Ross Desk Think on this: Jesus will see you through Isaiah 41:10 “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” King James Version (KJV) May God have a blessing on the reader, hearers and doers of his Holy word. Happy Birthday to myself, sixty years, God spared me from life and self destruction. Donald Lawrence wrote a song "Deliverance", and the opening lyrics are " Lord, delivered me, it seen that all I do is, Hurt me." Is there anybody can identify with that statement, that no matter what you say, want you pray for or what you do, it seems that you are the one who gets hurt. And all you can say is "Oooh, Oooh, Oooh Lord delivered me from the mess, delivered me from heartbreaks, delivered me from pain and the suffering, weakness that I can't handle. I feeling an "Oooh" in my spirit because I sad, beaten down, health is not good, wrestling with my own personal demons, knowing I'm saved but it seems that God is so far away. What should I do, and how can I surrender my self (just that quick it became personal) because of what I have gone through and still doing through, I need the reassurance that God will never leave me nor forsake me in time of loneliness and trouble, uncertainty of life and the question, Lord, "what is it that you want me to do for your kingdom"? That's why, I need to release my "Oooh", please deliver me. Well let me try to help you and I, we loaded the airplane headed back to Texas, and as we took off there was a slight trembling as we took off. The pilot said, we are climbing so many feet in the air and we will experience some turbulence and when it is safe, you will be able to unbuckle your seatbelt and freely move about the cabin. When we got the all clear, I got comfortable and relax but as we getting closer to home, the pilot said for your safety, please bring your seat to an upright position, buckle your seat belt because we will encounter some rough spots before we land. {Now here is where you need to shout}. When you start on your flight of life, your take off can be a little rough, so buckle up because Jesus is the pilot, and he will tell you when all clear you can now move freely with no worries. God will glide you through life turbulence if you will be still and see the Salvation of the Lord. Now if you receive this message, release your "Ooh". Now, fine your church to where you can learn more about Jesus; the one who hung, bleed and died for you and my sins. I invite you to New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Littlefield Texas. The church that shows Love.

The cross reveals to us the character of God: His love for lost sinners and His perfect justice meet at the cross. The crown of thorns represents the sin and suffering carried by the King of Christianity The cross is draped in purple (the color of royalty) on Palm Sunday, the day Christ entered Jerusalem as King riding a donkey. Jesus is indeed the King of the Jews, but much more, the King of kings and Lord of lords. The Easter Lily and Christianity. ... It's also believed that the lilies grew where Jesus' sweat and tears fell to the ground during his crucifixion.
